The holidays are a great opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends, but the holidays can also take a toll on your health.
In a light-hearted spin on the traditional Lunch & Learn, Coffey Health System nurses Melissa Hall, Stacy Augustyn, and Michelle McVey will present “Twelve Ways to Health.” You’ll learn ways to prevent the spread of germs, manage stress, and stay healthy through the holidays and beyond.
“During the holidays it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and forget or neglect the small things that can have a huge impact on your health,” says Augustyn. “The twelve ways of health are twelve tips and reminders to help ensure you and your family will have a safe and healthy holiday season.”
The Coffey Health System health elves will lead the December 11 installment of the Lunch & Learn series. You will not want to miss these holiday tips to support your efforts for health and safety this season. The noon presentation takes place in Coffey County Hospital’s Allen Woods 2 conference room.
“Please note that this event is on Tuesday, December 11, instead of our traditional Friday schedule,” said Director of Marketing Tracy Campbell. “We look forward to welcoming the community for this special noon presentation. We promise you will laugh while you learn.”
Attendance and lunch are free. Seating is limited, so register today by calling Virginia DuBuke at (620) 364-2121 Ext. 4174 or to register online, click here. Evening callers may leave a voice-mail including their name, telephone and the number of people wanting to attend. Reservations are also taken online at www.coffeyhealth.org.
The Lunch & Learn program is a community service of Coffey Health System.
