Assisted living is sometimes overlooked or misunderstood when considering retirement or senior care options. Coffey Health System will demystify assisted living at a special Lunch & Learn presentation at noon on Friday, June 21, at The Meadows, 1201 Martindale St. in Burlington.
The Meadows representatives Diana Thomsen and Suzanne Garcia will explain assisted living, a few of the specific requirements in Kansas, and the application process. They will also discuss a typical day at The Meadows, and review payment options and the facility’s four Levels of Care that determine a resident’s monthly rate.
“This is a great opportunity to learn what ‘assisted living’ means and get a feel for whether it is right for you or a loved one,” said CHS Director of Marketing Tracy Jones.
This free event begins at noon. Seating is limited, so register today at (620) 364-4507 or register here.
The Lunch and Learn series is a community service of Coffey Health System.
